Artist's Description

This old heavy hauler truck was in a junkyard in Cimarron, New Mexico. On the day I stopped there was one lone cloud in the sky, and of course, it had to be in the picture. When I processed the photo the cloud wound up yellow and it looked as if the truck was belching fire.

About Jacqui Binford-Bell

Jacqui Binford-Bell

Jacqui Binford-Bell is a fine artist working in digital painting and visionary watercolor. "Originally photography was just a tool for capturing images to paint, but when I took two years off from painting I fell in love with photography and the dry darkroom," Jacqui explains to vistors to her Binford-Bell Studio and Gallery in Black Lake, New Mexico. The gallery is part of the Artistic Vistas and Treasures Art Trail in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Her photography and paintings record those mountains and the Colorado Plateau she frequently visits. She has won numerous prizes and an international following with her watercolors and photography.
