Artist's Description

Something about these four lawn chairs on the cobble stone patio demanded to be photographed. I thought it was patterns of shadows they set up against the surrounding forest in the morning light, but I think it is the memories they stir in me about summer cabins and vacations.

About Jacqui Binford-Bell

Jacqui Binford-Bell

Jacqui Binford-Bell is a fine artist working in digital painting and visionary watercolor. "Originally photography was just a tool for capturing images to paint, but when I took two years off from painting I fell in love with photography and the dry darkroom," Jacqui explains to vistors to her Binford-Bell Studio and Gallery in Black Lake, New Mexico. The gallery is part of the Artistic Vistas and Treasures Art Trail in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Her photography and paintings record those mountains and the Colorado Plateau she frequently visits. She has won numerous prizes and an international following with her watercolors and photography.
