Description

The growing season in New Mexico is so short I feel compelled to record the brief appearance of flowers to lengthen their impact. Hollyhocks grow like weeds here in Black Lake but this was an especially good year. I captured these just at the end of a gentle rain. They were heavy with the moisture on their petals.
